Seized Property Investigator
CurrentPromote overall efficiency by documenting/processing all seized items, conduct vault audits, preparing consignment/disposition orders, ensuring that adequate personnel are being utilized, effectively allocating resources, and serving as the SME on all forfeiture-related matters. Coordinate vault inventory across eleven field offices by locating discrepancies, enforcing storage standards, reviewing/correcting labels, and maintaining detailed records. Identify assets for forfeiture during criminal investigations by partnering with special agents and SFIs. Ensure that all seizures are completed properly by liaising between the ATF and the US Marshals Service.Key Accomplishments:• Led the team in the Asset Forfeiture Seized Property Division after six federal search warrants involving 405 firearms and 65K+ rounds of ammunition by coordinating storage with the outside vendor due to limited space within the Fayetteville field office.• Successfully aided the Charlotte Field Division in coordinating and processing seized currency totaling $1M+ USD during FY 2020 and 2021.
