We converted a new Opal GT to meet the first proposed clean air standards by removing the gasoline fuel system and installing a natural gas system with a backup of propane for longer distances. The concept was the original home rechargeable commuter car. Our sponsor, Corken Pump Company created a special dry cylinder natural gas compressor to "recharge" the system at home overnight.
