- Develop investment strategies in light of fundamental and technical analysis to benefit the management of the Pension Fund Portfolio. -Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the dealer community so as to have discussions on events in the international money and capital markets that can inform analysis and decision making. -Manage the liquidity portfolio ensuring that the level of funds in the Federal Reserve account is adequate to meet day-to-day liquidity needs, and excess funds are invested in Money Market instruments. -Prepare quarterly Pension Fund Reports to review performance and present a strategy using fundamental and technical analysis so as to position the portfolio to outperform the benchmark based on the economic outlook. -Prepare minutes, reports and technical papers for presentation by the Investment Management and Financial Analysis Unit at Reserve Management Committee (RMC) meeting, the BIC meeting, the Pension Fund Investment Committee and Pension Fund Trustees Meeting and any other meeting identified by the management of the Department.

- Assisted department faculty with various research projects, which contributed to efficiency and effectiveness to the department. - Represent department in ACG Cup Philadelphia:- Provided strategic advisory to PE firm on $76 million leveraged acquisition of privately held apparel company.- Performed company valuation and crafted complex, multi-scenario LBO model incorporating new term loan and revolver. - Created management slide decks and presented to board of directors comprised of ten financiers from Philadelphia. - Competed against six other Philadelphia MBA and MSF programs; earned 2nd Placed Prize.- Provided other assistance such as grading exams, assisting professors in classes, tutoring graduate finance students, and managing the day to day activities of the department.
