Promoted to Café Manager. I managed a team of Café Attendants and was in charge of shift scheduling, financial reports, and bank deposits. I worked first shift as Café Attendant Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I also programmed the digital menu boards for the cafés at both Metcalf SuperSport and Olathe Ridgeview locations. Requested transfer to Front Desk position full-time from Cafe Manager position due to changes to the cafe operations, by corporate, to include preparation of gluten-containing food items, to which I am allergic (celiac). Transfer request was granted.

Started working first shift Fridays and Saturdays in the Geomeals Cafe at Genesis Health Clubs Metcalf SuperSport. I made smoothies and sold prepackaged grab-and-go Geomeals.

Assisted Owner/Chief Engineer Pete Schartel with engineering matters at KCXL and Alpine Broadcasting's various translators. I assisted in the construction of Alpine's translator K295CH 106.9 FM. Installed combiner system to allow K295CH (106.9 FM) and K257DZ (99.3 FM) to broadcast from the same antenna.

I programed the Dance CHR music format that played overnights on KCXL, 11pm-6am nightly, as "Surge Radio." From October 2016 to January 2017, KCXL was a simulcast of WEGG 710 AM & 100.5 FM in North Carolina. After WEGG underwent a format change in January 2017, the Dance CHR format "Surge Radio" became an internet radio station based in Kansas City, which continued to be simulcast by KCXL until July 2017. I also installed new audio processing at the 104.7 FM (K284CH) tower site in Raytown, MO for better bass response.

I taught The Book of Ephesians during the Spring 2018 semester.

KOFO 1220 AM & 103.7 FM is a Country formatted radio station with Sports programming. I did board operator work at KOFO for Ottawa High School and Ottawa University sporting events as well as live remotes. I updated the website and social media with sports scores. I recorded game recaps for later broadcast. I provided technical support as needed. I also filled out logs and affidavits.

WSTK 104.5 FM "Surge Radio" was a Rhythmic AC/Dance CHR formatted radio station, a simulcast of WEGG 710 AM & 100.5 FM, from March 1, 2016 to August 31, 2016. I installed new audio processing at the tower site in Lowland, NC. I rewired the STL and main studio in Chocowinity, NC so that the station could broadcast in stereo. I did cold calling to local businesses for the purpose of selling advertising spots.

WDJS 1430 AM, between the hours of 2pm - 8am, was a simulcast of WEGG 710 AM & 100.5 FM, offering a Rhythmic AC/Dance CHR format as "Surge Radio." As the 710 AM signal was licensed for daytime-only operation, WDJS simulcast WEGG under a time-brokerage agreement. 1430 AM provided supplemental coverage in the northern parts of Duplin County as well as the larger cities of Goldsboro and Kinston, where WEGG's translator could not reach while the AM signal was off the air during the nighttime hours. In addition to coordinating this simulcast agreement, I provided IT services and technical support for WDJS.

I co-owned Surge Radio, a Dance CHR formatted internet-only radio station, with Christian Mergliano. I was responsible for selecting the music and scheduling programming. I built Surge Radio's music format from scratch (2000+ track library), and maintained a currents list of 40 - 50 tracks (updated usually every other week). Surge was fully automated with SAM Broadcaster, and we used Mitch Craig Productions for voice overs and production. I oversaw the brand development from the beginning and I had direct involvement with most aspects of the station until I was able to train new staff members and turn over responsibilities to them. I initiated the process to trademark the Surge Radio brand and logo. I oversaw and coordinated remote broadcasts from events at locations including The Avalon in Hollywood, Ruben's Bar & Grill in Lancaster, BeX Bar & Grill in Lancaster, and Sami's Donuts in Quartz Hill. I also recorded interviews for Surge Radio (As in the technical aspect of recording, setting up our recording gear, and pressing the record button. Surge Radio's Jeff Maki a.k.a. Modulus did the actual interviewing.) live in-person with the following artists: Cosmic Gate, Emma Hewitt, and Jes. When LoudCity, our music royalty licensing organization, closed down, we decided it was time for us to close down as well.

I did cold calling, seeking underwriters for KFXM, which is a non-profit non-commercial LPFM radio station with an Oldies (music from the 50s thru the 80s) format. I did presentations for business owners about the benefits of using radio to promote their business, and how KFXM underwriting announcements could help them reach their target demographic. I successfully recruited a number of local businesses. I rewrote the underwriter information packets used at KFXM. I also sought Christian churches to underwrite and broadcast their programming on Sunday mornings.

I worked as the primary I.T. for the following businesses:-Acton Pharmacy (November 2010-March 2011) - closed-American Post & Parcel (J & Challenger) in Lancaster, CA (April 2007-June 2012)-Crown Valley Pharmacy in Acton, CA (May 2011-June 2012) - built network prior to opening-Desert Drugs Pharmacy in Lancaster, CA (September 2010-June 2012)-Medicine Shoppe in Canyon Country, CA (September 2010-June 2012)-Newhall Pharmacy in Newhall, CA (April 2012-June 2012) - built network prior to opening-Valley Pharmacy in Lancaster, CA (April 2007-June 2012)These jobs involved troubleshooting problems with software and hardware. I have experience working with Cerner Etreby Pharmacy software, McKesson Pharmacy software, Digital Business Solutions DigitalRX software, PC Synergy Postal Mate software, UPS Worldship software, and FedEx Ship Manager software. I installed CSOS certifications. I set up and/or repaired network printing on the software end. If a printer needed hardware repair, I maintained a relationship with "Printers, Etc." in Lancaster, CA and transported over 10 printers to them for repair and back, all with 100% success. I built the computer networks from scratch at 2 locations. I maintained a relationship with "Complete Computer Care" in Lancaster, CA and had over 20 computers custom built for my clients, either to replace malfunctioning/outdated systems or in the building of new networks. I set up internet connections with routers and hubs. I set up, repaired, and/or assisted in setting up other equipment, including pill counter machines, package scales (connected to computer), barcode scanners, fax modems, receipt printers, label printers, paper scanners, card readers, point-of-sale systems, security camera systems (including remotely accessible systems), and in-store sound systems.

I did overhead projection for church services and other special events. I typed in the lyrics every week. I replaced obsolete presentation software, introduced ProPresenter, and trained the individuals involved with the Media Ministry on the system. I redesigned and regularly maintained the website. I edited 3 weekly sermons from the Senior Pastor for internet download as well as airplay (pre-production). I did video editing work, including creating a pre-service countdown video as well as several event promotion videos. I coordinated the weekly 30 minute radio program H2O Radio, originally heard on KPTG 101.5 FM in Adelanto, CA and the Living Proof Network (KWTW 88.5 FM in Bishop/KWTM 90.9 FM in June Lake/KWTD 91.9 FM in Ridgecrest & Antelope Valley/KJCU 89.9 FM in Fort Bragg/KWBP 90.3 FM in Big Pine + 7 translators), and expanded the program to WWCC 97.3 FM in Lafayette, IN; KAGA 97.9 FM in San Angelo, TX; KFXM 96.7 FM in Lancaster, CA; and The Surge of SoCal in Lancaster, CA. I maintained business relationships with the radio stations as well as with "His Productions" for production of the program. I produced promotional announcements for Calvary Chapel's events, using my own voice, for radio broadcast. I launched and maintained social media pages for Calvary Chapel Antelope Valley and H2O Radio. I also handled CCLI music royalty reporting for the worship team.

As part of the class Visual Communications II (2006/2007 school year), I did video editing work for Lancaster High School's Eagle Vision video announcement program, which involved editing out bad takes, green screening, sound and music editing, intro and outtro graphic design, etc. I also occasionally did live sound and/or recording as well as anchoring.As part of the class Movie Production (Summer 2007), I did most of the video editing work for the Antelope Valley Union High School District safety video, as well as some acting (minor roles). I formatted all of the computers in the Eagle Vision studio for the upcoming 2007/2008 school year.As part of the class Webmasters I (2005/2006 school year), I did work on several pages on the school's website, including the "Student Life" and "Clubs on Campus" pages.I was also a TA (Teacher's Assistant) to the Visual Communications instructor for B Block during the 2006/2007 school year.

Co-Founded Surge Radio, originally started out as Dance CHR, but evolved to encompass more genres. Eventually, it was split into 4 separate internet streams: Surge Radio (Active Rock), Brutal Surge (Death Metal/Black Metal/Grindcore), Extreme Surge (Metalcore), and Pulse (Dance CHR + Drum & Bass, House, Downtempo, Trance, Breakbeats, and Hardstyle).

I was a mobile DJ specializing in mixing House and Trance music with turntables and vinyl records (before the days of controller boards and Serato). I DJ'ed solo and along with other DJs at many different events including school dances and other events for Grace Lutheran School and Paraclete High School, as well as house parties and parties in larger venues (including once at Azusa Pacific University in 2004).
