I have had the opportunity to learn and gain experience from a many groups of successful people since 1982. I have worked big box retail stores in California and Minnesota where a great deal of time was spent training and getting a very diverse group of people to become effective dealing with the public.My first exposure to fraud was when I joined Capital One (then ING Direct) in 2003. I have had an exciting experience and have used this to continue to expand my horizons. I have earned my CFE credential and belong to several organizations including the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Twin Cities Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners (TCCCFE), and the Twin Cities Organized Retail Crime Association (TCORCA).Beginning in 2015, I had the honor of working with a hugely dedicated group of individuals in the Fraud Investigations area at Capital One. It was rewarding helping launch a growing presence in the local market as well as have an influence in many other areas as well.I am currently working as a Lead Specialist for Encore Capital Group. I am able to pursue this new opportunity due to a restructuring of the Fraud Investigation area at Capital One.
