Plans, organizes, directs, and runs day-to-day operations of originating, processing, and packaging of Poly-foam factory Using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Partners with CFO to manage plant's annual budget and monthly evaluation of actual budget performance for P&L oversight. Directs and leads worker safety programs by setting the example for a safe work environment. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to the plant leadership team. Fosters culture of trust, value, and safety. Partners with HR on employee development, engagement, recruiting, retaining, and relationship strategies.Communicates, administers, and enforces company rules, policies, procedures consistently and equitably. Trains, coaches, plans, assigns, and directs supervisory employees.Develops and manages processes to maximize safety, teamwork, quality, and productivity.Employ principles of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources.Develop and coordinate a JIT (Just In Time) production process for efficiency and lean 6 Sigma manufacturing. Manages inventory control for elimination/reduction of overstocking costing. Manages scheduling and forecasting of production via MRP/JIT. Tracks and evaluates production for efficiencies and improvements to achieve optimum operations quality and efficiency. Manage and evaluate machine and staffing resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime. Responsible for staff hiring, mentoring, discipline, and termination of employment when required. Manage foam plant P & L with Labor and Material management and coordination. Ordering of all product and supplies for factory operations.Reduced expenses and increase productivity across all product lines using Lean/Kaizen processes/events.Establishes employee SMART individual goals and ambitious production goals for efficiency.Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees. Communicate issues or obstacles to Executive staff with solution-based responses. Oversee overall plant maintenance schedules, Hazmat control and equipment efficiency performance. Complete or oversee in-depth repairs and scheduled maintenance of a wide variety of complex machinery. Create efficient working schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing level.
