Since September 1996 I've held and excelled at multiple positions at GENCO and FedEx Supply Chain. From a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator just starting out to now as an Operations Manager, I've experienced many facets of the logistics business. Below are some key points from my tenure at GENCO, Inc. and FedEx Supply Chain.• Supervise 60 teammates in a multi-customer facility• Control extensive RF warehouse management system to include managing the implementation and development of a physical inventory package from the ground up.• Oversee state-of-the-art order selection system from Innovative Picking Technologies, Inc.• Control inventory accuracy for a multi-tenant 500,000 sq. ft. facility• Conduct multiple physical inventories annually• Interact with customers daily to provide exceptional service• Prepare for and excel at multiple internal and external audits to include AIB and other food safety audits• Monitor flow of goods to ensure receiving and outbound order completeness• Lead the facility Safety Committee and train teammates on GENCO safety policies and procedures• Apply LEAN principles for continuous improvement• Provide assistance to other members of management in all areas of the business• Supervise approximately 40 Teammates in a custom manufacturing center• Work with approximately 20 Teammates in an order fulfillment account responsible for shipping and receiving various printer, copier and computer components • Work with Teammates to meet productivity and accuracy goals for inbound loads, picking and outbound loads• Ensure proper training on facility standard operating procedures• Conduct weekly safety meetings and monitor safe warehousing practices• Complete daily and weekly productivity reports• Assist the Facility Manager and other supervisors in various areas of the Core Excellence Audit• Hire and train new Teammates• Select orders using various types of equipment• Load outbound trucks• Unload inbound trucks
