Natural Resource Management; Geomorphology and the Soil-Water Nexus

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) through the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) was approved for a grant from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the proposal titled, “Water Sector Resilience Nexus for Sustainability in Barbados (WSRN S-Barbados).” The idea is to transform Barbados’ society into one that is more aware of the water cycle and climate change impacts threatening the island’s drinking water supply, create resilience to severe weather impacts, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce consumption, andq promote appropriate uses of diverse water sources and legislation to support climate smart development and water sector resilience.

• KDL was contracted for the National Agricultural Feeder Road Programme (NAFRP) to perform the maintenance, reconstruction and/upgrade of the drainage, road network and road stabilization for 22 roads integral to the agricultural sector in St.Vincent and the Grenadines.• Coordination, Supervision and Management of onsite engineering tasks.• Development of Engineering Drawings showing variations to the project design• Project procurement and costing assistance• Development of Project Bill of Quantities and tracking of subcomponent expenditure
