I have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry doing all aspects of statistical programming in SAS for 33 years. I have worked on 7 NDAs and managed groups of SAS programmers. I have helped run our own statistical consulting business for many years. I have taught SAS programming at Brigham Young University, AP Statistics, and Computer Science at the High School Level. I have developed a SAS program Log file analysis tool that helps SAS programmers debug their code faster. I have developed a web-based clinical trial management software that handles the enrollment and randomization of subjects, drug distribution to sites, and allocation to subjects. It has managed global phase III clinical trials.I am a religious guy. People sometimes ask me why someone who is so into science believes in God. My answer is it seems much more probable than not. When I think of the many many things that would have had to happen to make a world with intelligent life, the probability of all those things happening in the right sequence is 0.000 many more zeros, and a 1, or perhaps there is God that is influencing those outcomes that tipped the balance in favor of mankind. I believe in Science. I believe that God uses scientific principles to bring about the world we live in. I pray for Pentara, I pray for our employees and their families, and I pray for our clients.
