The Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island (CFPEI) is an incorporated, non-profit organization that provides a ‘user-friendly’ vehicle for donors to create endowment funds to support charitable activities. Income generated from these investments is directed through grants and scholarships to support a wide range of diverse needs in Prince Edward Island communities. Because of the permanent nature of these endowments, income is available for now and generations to come.The endowment fund allows the donor to leave a memorial legacy to meet their charitable interests in perpetuity, at minimum cost and maximum convenience. Since its incorporation, the Foundation has worked with donors to establish more than 100 endowment funds; these funds now have a current asset base of close to $14 Million.

The Hudson Group specializes in marketing, project management, and event management services. As a member of senior management teams in various roles over the past 15 years, my experience covers every area of business management. The Hudson Group offers a wealth of experience in business consulting with a truly hands-on approach. Responsible for managing all aspects of the Centre for Tourism Research at the Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island.

Duties Include: o Financial administration of projects, including auditing and processing of claims, project monitoring, management, and reporting; o Strategic planning and regional development projects for the PEI tourism sector; o Experience in developing and managing projects that include co -operative working arrangements with senior officials from municipal governments, provincial governments, and various federal government departments, along with members of private industry.

Responsible for areas of marketing and product development for Tourism Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. Duties include: o Financial administration of projects, including auditing and processing of claims, project monitoring, management, and reporting; o Development of new projects ­design concept and approach, planning and coordination of partners, application process, detailed project analysis, and delivery of end program; o Experience in working with projects that include partners from private sector (commercial & non-commercial), municipal governments, provincial governments, and various federal government departments.

Responsible for the development and delivery of a new course within the School of Business Administration. The course was designed as an introduction to sport and event management and marketing for 3rd and/or 4th year business students.
