Responsibilities include managing and performing visual and non-destructive testing for quality assurance and quality control projects. Applications include buildings, bridges, welded and fabricated components, aerospace components, military components, pipeline systems, watermains, storage tanks, boiler and pressure vessels, tower cranes, mobile cranes, and other lifting equipment. Provide welding consulting, retained welding engineering, and procedure development services to CSA W47.1 and CSA W47.2 certified companies.

Responsibilities include managing welding inspection group and project management for quality control and quality assurance projects, project management of small to medium size projects up to approximately 200K, perform retained welding engineering functions, manage consumable testing projects, consulting, develop standard and specialized welding procedures including repair procedures, evaluate developed procedures to applicable codes, evaluate weld faults involved in failure analysis projects, supervisor for CSA W47.1 and CSA W47.2 certification, perform visual inspection and supervisor responsibilities for inspection work to CSA W178.1, and various troubleshooting duties.

- Performing auditing, welder testing, and procedure testing services to certified and applicant companies;- Working with new companies to achieve certification and promoting certification by performing job site visits, meeting with building officials, and making cold calls;- Planning and organizing to achieve maximum effective use of my time with minimal need for part time use;- Responsible for providing technical assistance and training to other representatives on the use of PC Tablets in the field.

- Development of customized welding training courses on Microsoft PowerPoint, on-site training to customers, and hands-on training in the welding training centre for various welding, cutting, and heating applications.- Performed auditing services to companies seeking to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety.- Preparing findings of performance audit in a professional looking report, and PowerPoint slide show.- Development of welding procedures for companies.- Provided technical support for the sales team including equipment demonstrations, gas and wire demonstrations, problem solving, etc.

- Technical support for sales team across all of British Columbia- Responsible for managing Welding equipment and shielding gas/consumable demo rooms at BCIT College and Kwantlan College. Also responsible for providing training to welding instructors at the colleges on advanced welding processes and shielding gas/consumable applications.- Provided customized on-site welding training for companies with mobile classroom and welding booths.
