About Kent Macpherson

I'm a sound designer, audio engineer, musician, composer and educator. It's my greatest privilege to be immersed in an area that profoundly impacts one of our five senses. Sound is everything, it has the ability to deepen our connection with the world and transcend the human experience. I enjoy the process of active listening (over just hearing) to the symphony of the universe around us. Tuning in to the hidden sounds around us using specialist equipment. I am intrigued by the new sound worlds I am able to create for accompaniment to art installations or video works.
