    Honor Run Foundation is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that consists of seven unpaid board members. Primary mission is raising money for the Tri State Honor Flight organization in sending veterans to visit their memorials in Washington D.C. and Habitat For Humanity of Cincinnati to help support a local veteran home repair. This year will be the fourth year of our biggest event, the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Honor Run Half Marathon, Honor Run 2 Person Relay, Nature Nate's Honor Run Half Marathon 5K and Honor Run Kids One Mile that will be held on Veteran’s Day weekend Sunday November 12th, 2017. The event has continued to grow as 2016 race was our biggest to date with over 1,200 runners from a variety of states and an increase of $18,000 from previous year. Honor Run Foundation donated $50,000 to Honor Flight Tri State and $8,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Cincinnati in 2016. Responsibilities/Accomplishments:• Direct marketing businesses and corporations by gaining interest in sponosoring our event, scheduling and conducting meetings to propose the three levels of sponoroing opporunties• Maintaining mutual support of organization mission lines up to the foundation mission in building a lasting relationship by maintaining contact with vendors• To date, created a Title Sponsor, Presenting Sponsors, and Bronze Sponosors, that consists of 30 major corporations and small business• Attend running expos with booth to direct market the race and monitor the return on investment from two large expos- Flying Pig Marathon (Cincinnati, OH) and Bluegrass Marathon (Lexington, KY)
