Combined with my broad experience and educational background this has allowed me to build engineering teams with amazing culture that are as fun to be a part of as they are productive! I have successfully led both domestic and offshore teams in on-site, remote and hybrid environments, always making sure that the positive, energetic culture extends to every team member. To my credit, in nearly 20 years of leading software engineers I have never had an employee leave one of my teams because they were unhappy.Throughout my career, I have developed the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, peers and upper management. I am comfortable discussing complex technical topics with customers and C-level executives as well as ensuring that the company’s vision and initiatives are well understood by engineers so that the big picture becomes part of the products that we build. I feel that cross-team collaboration is key to the success of any large project, and I have always made it a point to ensure that my team’s efforts are aligned with the overall vision and with the efforts of other teams across the organization.
