In AUO, Kent worked in Advance Research Center mainly focusing on long term projects. One of the key projects is flexible AMOLED, which is deemed as most high potential product in next generation. In the back panel technology, soluble metal oxide technology was selected as . He is in charge of the government funding project for following tasks, evaluating all state-of-the-art technology and product, technology/patent roadmap and strategy, joint development evaluation and agreement negotiation.
