As a Consultant Project Manager, I find new clients, develop a scope of work, provide cost and contracting, manage staff in implementation of the work and oversee project budgeting through each project completion. My primary responsibility is a major Public Works Project with Dunn County, ND requiring travel to the Balkan. South Heart Road - Management of a major roadway project Phase 1: Project Closeout / Completion of Final roadway (6 Miles, $7M) Phase 2: Design Completion / Construction Management (13 Miles, $21M) Phase 3: Design Details Bidding Set-up (9 Miles, $12M ) Various marketing and business presentations including North Dakota Department of Transportation, Bismarck Regional Growth Plan, Morgan City waste water, Tribal areas

My primary duties involved Travel in all modes: primarily vehicle trips, but included skiing, transit, pedestrian, cyclist, and even equestrian. Overseeing Impact Fees and right-of-way acquisitions were part of my duties. As part of a small engineering office, I frequently reviewed Development Agreements and specific Master Plan community plans. Duties included redevelopment and specialized project review as listed. I was in charge of maintaining the transportation master plans and overseeing Special event impact reviews and mitigation. I also served on special technical committees as highlighted.

As the Department Head, I oversaw Engineering, Planning, and Building including budgeting, public meetings, presentations, consultant retaining, economic development, and many other duties as required by the County Council. I also worked with the master planned communities while working directly with the Planning Commission and County Council. Department Head working directly with the elected officials. As an Independent Contractor/Consultant, my main duty was business development and included all aspects of typically small scale subdivisions, including survey.  Concept development for master planned communities: Spring Mountain Ranch adjacent to Snow Basin ski resort Primary service area was Morgan County  Subdivision design and approval, including water company development. Private and Community Waste Water system Design. Geotechnical Sensitive land development, Highlands West: Mountain Green, UT

As a municipal and private consultant, I gained a variety of experience by working for the developer in some jurisdictions and acting for the community in others. I performed CAD work for the projects and also reviewed developer proposals to meet the adopted community standard. Public work projects included CBDG grants, community irrigation systems, annual maintenance projects, community inquires, etc. Contracted municipal services for:  Henefer City: Community Water System analysis, Subdivisions Morgan City: Secondary Water, Cemetery Design/Layout Subdivisions West Haven UT: Subdivision, Community Regional Park and Secondary Water Reservoir integrated with Wetland Mitigation Subdivision entitlement, design, and construction within various Northern Utah Communities both Commercial and Residential. Layton, Syracuse, Ogden, South Ogden, Roy, North Ogden, Tremonton, Kaysville Developer Contracting South Ogden, UT Redevelopment Agency: Removal of 52 blighted homes and 3 businesses Construction of : Large Box and Retail pads

Pre-GIS, my intern duties included documentation of service laterals and pipe networks from North Salt Lake to North Ogden. This led to assistance in water allocation and a Master’s thesis involving system headworks. Master’s thesis - sediment pond modeling servicing the northern Wasatch Front. GIS system start-up, survey and basic water right administration.
