The Senior Project Engineer contributes to team effort by • Developing innovative and feasible solutions for automation and robotics equipment and processes, cost reduction and / or quality improvement measures；• Creating new product statement of requirements docuemntation based on customer, management and regulator inputs; • Performing analysis of automation market segments, including competitive benchmarking studies, competitor analysis, and review of technical literature; • Assisting in business case development and analysis for development of technical solutions;• Assissting in ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Programs and legislative requirements.

• Conduct research and development for collaborative robot arm applications in industrialfield, such as polishing, sanding, pick & place and etc for Magna International Inc. - SCFI Division• Conduct the path planning and trajectory generation algorithm development withnumerical interpolation calculation method for robot arm applications• Analyze the requirements from clients and generate solutions based on the requirements• Prepare application project proposals based on client’s requirements• Design and create functional safety testing procedures for robotic arm product to complywith CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Standards, ANSI (American NationalStandards Institute) Standards and ISO (International Standards Organization) Standards• Engage and collaborate with third party certification companies to perform evaluationand certification of our products; the third-party certification companies include but notlimit to ESA (Electrical Safety Association), TUV SUD and etc.

• Analyzed technical information, electrical single line diagrams of Ontario Power AuthorityFeed-in Tariff and MicroFIT projects ensuring that the customer’s SLD is up to standards ofEnersource and ESA (Electrical Safety Authority).• Analyzed loading on Enersource Hydro Mississauga feeders (44kV and/or 27.6kV) andHydro One Networks Inc transmission station to ensure there is enough capacity toaccommodate for the generation connection to the transformer station.
