• Interview prospective clients and process mortgage loans including new loans, small business loans, first time homeowner, refinance, and purchases. Explain types of loans, credit options and terms available.• Work closely with clients to identify financial goals and ways of reaching those goals• Analyze applicants'​ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans• Submit applications to credit analysts for verification and recommendation• Confer with underwriters to aid in resolving mortgage application problems• Solicit and maintain strong, dynamic relationships with customers, realtors and builders• Market bank products to individuals and firms, promote bank services to meet customers'​ needs• Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans• Stay informed of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers' needs• Use mortgage software programs including Encompass 360 and DeskTop Underwriter to create documentation• Implement solid understanding of Fannie Mae guidelines along with USDA experience
