Manage the entire BI reporting system (managed reporting and ad-hoc reports) for a rapidly growing research-intensive institution (the Office of Research Administration) in a highly compliant environment. Provide QA and report monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance with University, State, Federal, and Granting Agency regulations; financial regulations; along with data compliance (e.g. clinical/healthcare data). A reputation as the go-to person for resolving complex issues. Takes on multiple roles to ensure that projects move forward, serving as Lead Developer, System Administrator, and SME for multiple systems: Research Reporting System (RRS), Oracle, and Logi Analytics.

Managed and mentored a 15-member team (customer service staff, project managers, and engineers) in collaboration with a colleague, supporting the College of Arts & Sciences and the specialized helpdesk for the entire college. Provided customized and upper tier solutions to strategic areas, including Research Systems, Business Analytics (Logi Analytics), and Process Improvement.

Continuously sought opportunities to improve the integration and assembly of key computerized components in the production of Electronic Gaming Machines (Slot Machines). Provided diagnostics/repair services and training, both onsite and remote support for end-users and engineers. Eliminated a time consuming and highly ineffective manual process for writing software images to gaming cards (one card at a time). Architected a procedure to image cards after installation in the gaming machines, in bulk, using tools such as Norton Ghost and FOG. Increased the overall quality of the imaging process, while freeing staff for more productive work.

Managed all store operations for front and back of the house, as well as the operation of the help desk and services departments. Responsible for inventory and product analysis; vendor relationship management; and product analysis, ordering and procurement in excess of $6 million per year.

Designed and managed a complete small business IT infrastructure from the ground up, including servers, switching, routing, network security, and help desk. Developed full system documentation for all systems including end-user SOPs and training materials.
