As software development manager for corporate legacy information systems, I insure that our existing production systems are operational, and that system problems are rapidly resolved. I manage a contract team of developers that work in both the legacy software environments as well as modern web application environments to maintain and extend the current software products as we transition them to more modern platforms and programming models. My technical contributions to the development team include the overall software architecture design, integration design, and data design. I also work closely with our infrastructure manager and integration manager to develop the overall architecture for systems at Atlantic Packaging.

I led a diverse team of people including DBAs, Infrastructure Engineers, Report Developers, Technical Writers, Business Intelligence Architects, Management Strategists, and Statisticians, that provide business intelligence, analytics, and data warehouse development services. After nearly 8 years as an Enterprise Architect, it is really satisfying to be back in a role where I can show up with solutions rather than a box of rules. :-)
