Imaging, photography and fine-art clients include Restoration Hardware, Elroy Air, Adobe, Method Soap, Masons of California, National Geographic Kids, Forbes, Presidio Natural Pet Co., Digital Photographer Magazine, and more. Retouching clients include Rothy’s, as well as Levi’s and Restoration Hardware while I worked as a retoucher at Colorhythm SF. For product design, clients include Modern Twist, Stasher, and Black Serum, to whom I provided concept ideation, model-making and CAD. I have also designed and built websites for small businesses in California and South Carolina.

At Magenta Inc, I create and design everyday items for your home, office and garden. Designing collections in a broad range of styles for small boutique to Fortune 500 clients. Applying 3D design skills and manufacturing knowledge to improve sales conversions, work and communicate more efficiently with factories internationally, explore and developing new materials and finishes, and to increase output and efficiency of the studio.

Designed and built the next generation of professional power-tools and builders’ hardware for RIDGID, HART, and RYOBI.Won design awards for RIDGID’s SubCompact tools launched in 2020 and contributed to the development and launch of HART. Weekly deliverables ranged from hand sketching ideation, digital rendering, 3D form development, engineering CAD, and creating marketing material with the sales teams. Lead research studies, laying out framework for future generations of products.

Contributed ideation sketches, digital illustration, digital rendering, model making, and product photography to this tight-knit consultancy as it grew in its first year. Worked on broad range of products, from consumer electronics to luxury housewares and furniture. Collaborated with colleague to execute level’s “TILT” bench, which won the 2017 IDSA San Francisco’s “Better Together” competition.

Provided image editing and retouching services for Restoration Hardware, Levi Strauss, Ford, and many other clients; my work was featured in advertising campaigns, commercials, and catalogues.

Taught a range of subjects in English immersion classes at Manuel Beltran Technical High School, including grammar, spelling, geography, international cultures, and basic natural sciences.

Worked initially in Ippudo's original location downtown, then selected to join team to open and run their new, high-end outpost on the Upper West Side.

Managed content and functionality of Photoshop.com while also working on projects and software under development. Many of these side-projects were eventually included in final product releases.

I was the primary assistant for David Liittschwager while working on a 20-page feature story for National Geographic on the diverse range of animals found in the California coastal intertidal zones. Also did documentary work for a multi-national scientific consortium searching for never-before seen species at 12,000+ ft in the Sierra Nevadas and measuring the age of Bristlecone Pines. Additional projects included a retrospective book on Alice Waters at Chez Panisse, and, most excitingly, editing and preparing for the release of a National Geographic issue exposing the devastating effects of the the BP Gulf oil spill.

As part of a student-run team, I helped fix, maintain, and provide all technical support for the 300+ student and staff laptops at the school. We were, as it were, the IT department.
