About Ken Tock

Prior to SRCTec Mr Tock was the manager and super administrator for Carrier Commercial's Learning Management System (Totara) where over 15,000 students visit to learn about HVAC topics and Carrier products. The site contains over 1000 courses. He also developed online training content focusing on interactive and engaging interfaces.A graduate of Ohio State University, Mr. Tock began a career as a Military Policeman in the Army Reserves and served in Desert Storm. While in the reserves he was a millwright in the building trades of NE Ohio where he installed and maintained machinery in various industries. From there, he entered the US Coast Guard full time. He was stationed on the ice breaking/buoy tender USCG Cutter Bristol Bay. He then went to the Marine Science Technician school where he graduated as the honor student. Afterwards he was stationed at the Marine Safety Lab, analyzing oil spills to determine the responsible party. Upon completion of service in the Coast Guard, he embarked on a career in the software industry focusing primarily on machines and radar equipment.
