Led the Area Redevelopment Planning process for Fort Worth Spinks Airport's East Side. The process involved tenants from the area and airport staff and concluded with a reconfiguration plan which enabled landside access and efficient movement for aircraft.Led the Area Redevelopment Planning process for the Terminal area at Fort Worth Meacham airport. The planning included area tenants and airport staff and concluded with a development plan which enabled complete use of the property around the terminal area for aeronautical uses.Oversaw the income and use of funds from natural gas on City of Fort Worth Airport properties.Led the FBO Team in preparation for the 2011 North Texas Superbowl. Initiated the update of Airport Minimum Standards and development of Airport Leasing Policies for City of Fort Worth Airports.

Fort Smith, Arkansas Area

Completed the update of the Airport Master Plan. The plan included a new general aviation area and reconfiguration of the existing general aviation area to maximize space for aircraft.Developed and initiated a FIDS in cooperation with a web development consultant. The FIDS utilized live feed from airlines which was disseminated into ticket backdrops, gate backdrops, terminal monitors and web accessible information.Completed projects including parking expansion, consolidated rental car servicing facility and additional boarding bridges.Completed leases of airport property for non-aeronautical development including a hotel and a state department of motor vehicles office.

Lincoln, Nebraska Area

Appointed by the Governor of Nebraska. Responsible to oversee and direct the services and programs of the Department of Aeronautics.Completed the Nebraska Aviation System Plan in 2002. The plan was tied to demand for aviation services and focused on economic activity within communities to justify airport infrastructure.Transformed agency structure and staff responsibilities through downsizing, vacancies, and legislative and regulations changes.Refocused annual 'Aviation in Nebraska' reports into a broad focus on all aspects of aviation. The reports highlighted timely issues and are report of measurable aviation activity. A quarterly supplement was added to update measurable activity.Established 'Airport Neighborhood Watch' with cooperation from the Sheriff’s and Police Chief’s association and Nebraska State Patrol. Distributed the information in March 2002 and AOPA followed this model to implement the ‘Airport Watch’ program nationwide in early 2003.

North Platte Ne

Implemented "Try North Platte ... Fly North Platte" marketing effort including television, radio and newspaper advertising and presentations to civic organizations. The focus was to encourage people to fly from North Platte and inform the community about the airline industry and how it affected the North Platte area.Completed Airport Master Plan including improvements as well as closure of a parallel runway. Pilots were involved from the beginning to get their concurrence in this closure.Reduced staff by 28%, outside contracting by 53%, and utility expenses by 22%. These savings were accomplished while increasing areas maintained by 20%.Administered AIP, ISTEA and State Aid projects including taxiways, roadways, parking, signage in buildings, landside and airfield, landscaping, hangars, HVAC, building expansion and snow removal equipment.Issued GO bonds saving $70k in interest.
