As a Supervisor clinical Laboratory Scientist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), I perform and oversee various high complexity tests, validations, QC, analyses, and procedures in Microbiology, Hematology, Core Lab, and Transfusion Services. With over 11 years of experience in the Hospital & Health Care industry, I am proficient in managing and documenting the laboratory information systems, technical manuals, and support documentation, as well as collaborating with other health care professionals.I hold a bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Thomas Edison State University and an associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from The George Washington University. I am also certified by the International Organization for Project Management (IO4PM), OSHA, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB). I have a research background and a keen interest in advancing the field of Clinical Laboratory Science and Medical Technology.
