Invented Golfwits Mobile and Desktop Applications, a map-based golf scoring system for the golf market. Golfwits is an application that a golfer could take with them on the golf course on a handheld device. Golfwits library contained over 10,000 18 hole golf courses that the golfer could download. The golfer would play golf and to score each hole played they would simply drag and drop the ball on the image of the hole where the ball landed. Then shape the trajectory of the shot such as hook, draw, straight, fade, slice by dragging the line from the tee box to the ball position or the line in between each shot. Kent founded Golfwits LLC, created the Pocket Rating System for the USGA, created and developed the Golfwits YardageBook for USAToday.com and over 300 other golf related sites. Golfwits was touted and demo'd by Microsoft at the Windows 2000 launch in Chicago as the Killer-App for Pocket PC's. Golfwits full-page ads can be found in Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golf for Women in the year 2000. Golfwits LLC showcased Golfwits at the Golf Merchandise Show in Orlando and the PGA Show in Las Vegas in 40 x 40 booth space with Microsoft and Compaq marketing support.Golfwits Patent Application: http://www.google.com/patents/US20020151994
