• Manage, support and drive the team at Swimming New Zealand responsible for delivery of all New Zealand national championships, communications and marketing, membership and results data basing and sport development• Lead the delivery of special projects within our sport. This includes but is not limited to the development of new database and website platforms for swimming in New Zealand and the bidding and delivery of the swimming component of the 2017 World Masters Games• Management of corporate and sponsorship relationships• Develop, implement and review of the strategic direction of Swimming New Zealand as part of the senior management team.

- Primarily responsible for all aspects of preparing and delivering all of the New Zealand swimming national championships.- Apply for and reconciled grant applications.- Complete ongoing reviews of the Swimming New Zealand events process to improve the end product for athletes and spectators.

- Lived on site and worked for Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Wood at their residence in Oxford England.- Daily responsibilities ranged from working with a team of 5 gardeners, undertaking construction work and managing the IT needs of Sir Martin and Lady Woods staff and 5 charitable trusts based at the site.- Sir Martin and Lady Wood are two very prominent people in global science, and I was responsible for booking and making all arrangements for their travels.- Was active in organising numerous events that happened at the property we lived at, including charity fundraisers for 50 people, summer fetes for 400 people and other functions off site.

- Taught English at a Junior High School in Osaka, Japan- Moved to and lived in Japan to develop my interpersonal communication skills and to experience a new culture and language.Played an active role within the Higashi Osaka Assistant English Teacher Programme.- Chief Editor and Creative Director of the first Higashi Osaka Junior High School English Lesson Resource Book. The book was published and distributed in the Higashi Osaka Region.- Coached and advised the rugby club at the school. During my involvement it became one of the strongest teams in Osaka.

- Managed a team of 10 staff, who had responsibilities to the members of Bodyworks Gym to provide a strong customer focus.- Wrote Customer Service booklets for the members on different aspects of health and fitness and actively sought solutions to problems around the gym.- Managed the day to day functioning of the team and carried out responsibilities, including mentoring and motivation of staff, administration (wages), running staff meetings, interaction with other areas of the gym and many other tasks that arose with the position.

- Responsible for the overall organisation of the Otago University Team to the New Zealand University Games.- Obtained sponsorship of $45,000 through organisation of sponsorship, fundraising events and outside funding for the purpose of competitor subsidy.- Organised transportation from Dunedin to Hamilton and accommodation for 300 competitors.

- Personal trainer for 3 years administering over 300 programmes.- Organised the University of Otago Rugby Competition. The competition involved 38 teams and major responsibilities included: Draw Preparation, Referee Training, Ground Allocation, Health & Safety Management.- Front Desk work. Major responsibilities included customer service and reception, receipting money, dealing with phone enquiries.
