BSEE Northwestern University, MBA Wake Forest University.Thirty Years with AT&T - field engineer, international DoD assignments, progressive management experiences, manufacturing, large-scale multi-location, multi-language Technical Publishing and Training.Got tired of big business structure and politics - moved on to work with small startups. Provided guidance in strategic/tactical planning and implementation, management/leadership practices, infrastructure development, business development, sales/marketing, financial management, and product/service development. Eventually found a startup I couldn't resist - Acrolinx GmbH headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Incorporated the North American subsidiary in 2006, built the infrastructure, and grew US sales to critical mass. Now the right people, processes, and tools are in place, and the company is on a nice growth trajectory. So, it's time to move on ...My current goals: Spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting, and flying. With occasional short term consulting in the areas I enjoy most: startups, turnarounds, management, leadership, and conflict resolution.
