Ken Urso is an international director, actor, producer and teaching artist. He served as the Director of Professional Development and on the MFA Directing faculty at the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School, home of Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio, where he produced a series that interviews such guests as Alec Baldwin, Bradley Cooper, Ellen Burstyn, and Lonny Price, among others. He has taught courses and workshops for The City University of New York, Pacific University, Gonzaga University, Pace University, Colby College and at the Kennedy Center. In 2014, Ken directed the world premiere of the opera The House of Murgatroyd which opened at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Harrogate, England. Regional directing credits include tick, tick… BOOM!, Mamma Mia!, The Producers, Chicago, Always… Patsy Cline, among others. NYC directing credits include Worth House, Kidnapping Laura Linney, Red Light Winter and Fallen Angels.Ken produced the award-winning play Gay Camp, which ran for years at the Duplex Theater in the heart of NYC's Greenwich Village, and also toured the nation.
