I have extensive experience in the oil and chemical industry as a Senior Instrument / Electrical Designer & Senior Instrument Technician. Use Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation (Intools) to load and wire instruments to Junction Boxes, Marshalling Racks, DCS, MCC. I am proficient with the Instrument Index module, Wiring module, Browser module, Loop Module and Spec Sheet Module setting up new instrument tags, entering instrument spec sheet data, creating cable schedules, wiring and generating Enhanced SmartLoops. Utilize AutoCAD for creating Block Diagrams, Location Plans, Installation Details, Junction Box Details, Control Panel Details, Marshalling Rack Details, Cable Schedules, Loop Drawings, Instrument Index, Nameplate Details, Elementary Drawings, Bill Of Materials Prepare drawings and sketches of unusual and complex designs requiring the application of theoretical and practical engineering knowledge. Review manufacturers' and/or fabricators' prints for conformance with contract specifications. Regularly interface with other departments, clients, vendors, and project specialists in order to support project production. Provide input determining manpower requirements, establishing drawing schedules, assigning tasks to lower-level design/drafting personnel, etc. Responsible for P&ID markups, Management Of Change documents, man-hour and budget estimates, and schedule updates. Create detailed Scope of Work and put together project books for construction Contractors. Experienced in all areas of Instrument Design, DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA configuration utilizing Function block and ladder logic as well as troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all types of instruments and analyzers. Design, configure and fabricate small to medium control systems using ABB products. Perform SAT and FAT.
