• Responsible for Premium Operations (800 salons) and Asset Protection across 7,400 Regis locations in North America, the U.K., and Canada. Hire, recruit, and train top talent for leadership roles in Operations and Asset Protection. • Work with and hire a range of vendors, encompassing recruiting agencies, IT consultants, retail vendors, and 12 asset protection vendors. Independently negotiate and close contracts. Scope work to do a proper RFP, secure budgets, review contracts with Legal, and mitigate risk.• Evaluated operations, assessed talent, and recruited 27 top performing executive level leaders for key operational and Asset Protection positions throughout North America. • Responsible for maintaining oversight on senior executive decisions relating to Asset Protection. Decreased retail shrink by 1.5%, high level oversight of dishonest employee interviews, as well as all other Asset Protection matters. The CEO and Board of Directors have recognized Asset Protection during every public earnings call as a key initiative behind the company’s ongoing success.• Managed P&L, along with five direct reports, AVP of AP, three Directors and one Director of Finance.• Created an Asset Protection department from the ground up, with a focus on expanding revenue while minimizing employee turnover, shrink, and theft. Conducted a three-month field assessment and designed the initial organization structure. • Hired a team of 45 Asset Protection professionals and created a steering committee to support the process. • Created a world-class awareness program that helps increase gross margin.• Created the company’s first Asset Protection Auditing Program, instituted a restitution program with civil demand for all dishonest employee cases, and developed an employee exception reporting system and case management database.

• Hired to restructure and transform the company’s approach to loss prevention and food safety, and implement cutting edge strategies with a focus on driving sales.• Managed an annual budget of approximately $6M, recruited and trained a highly effective team of 50 investigators, and oversaw a full organization of 99 personnel. • Optimized investigator productivity and resource allocation with smart reporting processes that allowed us to identify 20% of stores causing 80% of all losses.• Achieved a $3M decrease in shrink within the first year, the largest in the company’s history. • Increased internal theft detection by 14% or 135 cases per year, decreased cash shortages by 35% or $389K. • Increased shoplifting apprehensions by 1,200 instances or 42%, within the first year. Hired and trained an organized crime retail team and partner, pursued restitution, and aggressively prosecuted repeat offenders. • Implemented multiple corporate security programs in the areas of business continuity, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) training, active shooter response training, fire safety, and IT security. • Decreased general liability and workers’ compensation safety claims by $550K. Implemented the Manager of Safety role, established bonuses tied to reducing claims.

• Responsible for leading programs to reduce retail shrinkage across $10B in annual P&L and to ensure prescription and pharmacy compliance with the Federal Government. Achieved a $1.5M reduction in Workers’ Compensation and General Liability, and reduced cash shortages by $1.2M.• Maintained compliance with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on Rx drug theft cases, and maintained full responsibility for Rx operations, hazard waste, sales and margins.• Managed three direct reports that included four Senior Regional Loss Prevention Managers, and one Analyst. Oversaw indirect reports that included 51 Regional Loss Prevention Managers and 313 Market Investigators. • Implemented a security guard program to save $1.3M, and established an External Investigator Program that was expanded across the company.• Achieved a dramatic reduction in shrink across the Northeast Area, the most challenging region in the company. Reduced shrink from 1.78% to 1.42% within two years, representing a total savings of $10.5M. Developed and executed the program strategy, secured buy in from decision makers, and increased awareness across stores.• Based on previous success in the Northeast Area, I was transferred to duplicate these results in the New York City market. Again achieved record results, reducing shrink from 1.62% to 1.48%, for a savings of $13M.• Increased internal theft detection by 25% YoY, representing a savings of $1.2M. Created an exception reporting system to quickly identify drug theft, significantly increase cases, and ultimately boost company profits.

• Responsible for establishing Ratner’s loss prevention and risk management program from the ground up across 1,200 stores in the United States and United Kingdom, a first of its kind for the salon industry. • Created a highly successful awareness program that significantly reduced shrink among stylists, which was credited by the CFO to have generated an equivalent increase of $40M in sales.• Managed a P&L of $2M, along with 12 Regional Operations Leaders, and two Analysts. Hired and trained 15 Regional security Leaders and successfully trained them in the art of interrogations.• Developed an entirely new operational auditing program that focused on cash shortages & corporate embezzlement.• Decreased shrink by 4.5% to save $1M over seven years, increased restitution collection by $220K, and decreased losses from bad checks and chargebacks by $225K. • Decreased cash over/shorts by 65% to recapture $555K in lost revenue within the first year. Created the company’s first-ever exception reporting process to quickly identify and address problem areas.• Reduced workers comp and general liability claims by $475K in the first year, a 25% reduction. • Instituted a risk program that tied claims back to operations team P&L, which created better visibility.

• Promoted and transferred to two of the most challenging districts in the company. Responsible for leading loss prevention at twelve Home Depot stores across New York, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, with sales exceeding $900M annually. Managed 11 Loss Prevention Managers and 17 Loss Prevention Associates.• Maintained shirk performance under 1.5% in Baltimore, with record low shrink of $1M. Decreased shrink in New York City from 4% to 2%, saved the company $4.2M, and received the Best Performance Award in 2001.Highlight of my tenure was working with a Secret Service agent and Jersey City Detectives on an overseas bad check, credit card white collar theft ring. As a result I was awarded best case closure. The case was estimated to be over one million dollars in theft.
