Provide document control support to project managers, construction managers, and other project team members. Serve as the document control job leader, providing technical guidance to Engineering Aides and lower-level Engineering Coordinators assigned to a project. Review work produced to ensure timely and accurate results. I am the administrator over our project(s) SharePoint sites which involves once I have requested and received a new SharePoint site from the I.T. department, I then must design it according to what I feel the PM and the client are most comfortable with. Also I must determine what design templates are used for each area of the site, create SharePoint group and individual roles, determine who can access the site (internal only? clients? Contractors?), determine how outsiders (outside of Parsons) and Parsons users will navigate the site, determine the process to request a site and to access the site, periodically check that the maximum storage capacity has not been met, managing SharePoint permissions throughout the life of the project, setting up alerts, (If needed) Help to train and support users on the SharePoint site (i.e. basic upload, search and password), clean-up of site once the project has completed, managing new site collections and sub-sites and manage the work-flows as needed.Establish and maintain files and computerized indexes for active engineering documents. Maintain an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, and supplier requirements. Maintain and update site data and site and project status in multiple databases for tracking and reporting; creating and auditing status reports for dissemination to project team and client.Attend project meetings, as needed, to give status of requisitions or other documents and to be kept current on project status.
