I am an IT Director at Vanguard and the Head of Participant Experience Technology. As a Technology Executive and Head of Participant Experience Technology, I partner with Senior Leaders across the Enterprise to build a strategic vision in support of full service excellence for every client. I am responsible for the strategy, implementation and delivery of a modernized Participant Experience Agenda; ensuring our services help our clients meet their individual financial needs and goals. I previously led our IT Platform Engineering Services Department where I led a team of Infrastructure Engineers and oversaw the strategy, design and implementation of Vanguard’s most missIon critical platform technologies. I was responsible for developing modernized infrastructure solutions and coordinating infrastructure initiatives across the Enterprise. Prior to that, I served as the lead for Vanguard’s Recovery Operations and IT Business Continuity Services, ensuring that Vanguard’s operations had the ability to run in the event of any contingency event. I have served as the lead of our Digital Strategy for our Institutional Investor clients, where I developed the business strategy for our digital platforms. I have also led the IT strategy and implementation of our mobile and web applications, including the inaugural release of our mobile application for our Institutional clients. I previously also served as the lead of our Software Testing platform. I am a Technology Executive with more than 25 years of Information Technology experience in the industry. Shortly after earning my B.S. in Computer Science from The University of South Carolina and prior to joining Vanguard in 1999, I worked as an Application Developer for Policy Management Systems Corporation and later as an Information Technology consultant for Keane, Inc.
