Driven by a deep commitment to career exploration in STEM and a passion for increasing representation of women and minorities in these fields, I founded and currently lead the organization Rooted in STEM. Through Rooted in STEM, I’ve built a community to inspire, connect, and empower underrepresented groups in STEM through mentorship and career guidance.I developed and launched our primary social media presence on Instagram (@getrootedinstem) and am currently expanding our outreach to Facebook and LinkedIn. Leading a dedicated team, I oversee yearly planning, content creation, and communication to ensure our mission’s impact.Since Rooted in STEM’s inception in 2022, the journey has been personally transformative. Despite a life altering traumatic brain injury following an accident in early 2023, I’ve continued to grow and lead this initiative. It’s my honor to make a lasting difference for those pursuing careers in STEM.
