• Assisted the University's intercollegiate athletics program to achieve the parallel goals of development of quality, competitive athletics teams and support of the individual educational goals of student-athletes through management of the personnel, budgetary, facility, and equipment resources available to the athletics program, development of policies and procedures designed to assure achievement of internally and externally established goals and objectives, and continuous evaluation of individual and unit performances toward achievement of those goals and objectives.• Reduced the likelihood for violations of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations, particularly those regarding student eligibility to participate in intercollegiate athletics, by ensuring that the athletics program is in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations governing eligibility and coordinating with other University administrative departments involved with student-athletes, (e.g., Admissions, Registrar, and Financial Aid) to verify compliance with NCAA rules and regulations regarding student-athlete eligibility and entitlements.• Provided leadership in the focus of the recruitment effort of the University's intercollegiate athletics program and ensures compliance with NCAA rules and regulations governing the recruitment of student-athletes by providing guidance and/or policies to team coaching staffs that engenders compliance with recruiting rules.• Provided strategic oversight for select athletic department administrative support units (academics, athletic compliance, athletic training, equipment, and strength and conditioning).• Served as the sport administrator for multiple men and women sport programs by providing leadership with goal setting, performance management, budget planning, managing funds for equipment, travel, facility, training, or related resource needs, and exercising final authority over expenditures.
