CurrentPlan and execute special campaigns such as the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center's 10th anniversary in 2021 and Rainbow Hospice Care's 30th anniversary in 2020. Manage multiple marketing/communications projects to meet several competing deadlines. Generate human interest stories that give meaning to our work. Well in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic, my storytelling and well-placed articles helped drive business results. This strategic business development adaptation, i.e., the accelerated use of narrative medicine, helped produce record-high referrals, admissions, and average daily census in 2020. Collaborate with various departments (e.g., administration, clinical, volunteer, bereavement/spiritual, social work) to develop and implement integrated strategic communication plans that advance Rainbow Hospice Care’s brand identity, broaden awareness of its mission, and increase the visibility of its programs across internal and external audiences. Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with the media and outside partners, and successfully position Rainbow Hospice Care's stories to achieve high-impact placements in newspapers and other publications. Manage all social media accounts for the organization and increased Rainbow's Facebook following by 40 percent. Effectively launched Rainbow’s YouTube channel and Instagram account. Create and design all of Rainbow Hospice Care’s marketing materials (e.g., flyers, newsletters, special event brochures, displays, press releases). Produce and edit virtual programming and Facebook Live events for our bereavement department. Add new content to our website multiple times per week. Serve as a key member of a committee that is currently researching and evaluating new website platforms that more closely align with our organization's non-profit mission and needs.
