I serviced the needs of ATFS tree farmers and our network of state leaders: providing support for awards, insurance, information, outreach, database management, newsletter creation as well as general support of the department.I also managed the grants program and the Landowner Webinar series. ACSS is dedicated to promoting good governance and democratic values in the defense and security sectors around the globe, and to establishing long-term active communications with African leaders across the continent. The Maine Campus Student Newspaper has been publishing weekly or bi-weekly content for the University of Maine and surrounding communities since 1875.- Managed the production of a twice-weekly 14-page newspaper- Supervised 3 designers and advised 5 section editors- Designed 4 page news section and had final say on design of other sections- Ensured design integrity and quality with strong attention to detail. Acquired and arranged for photo permissions- Wrote a weekly column on campus sustainability issues for a year- Also wrote several opinion, features & news articles

The Orono Land Trust is a local non-profit organization with volunteer officers and Board members. Its function is to encourage the presence of trails and open spaces in the Orono area.- Reorganized land trust physical and electronic records system to meet accreditation standards while learning about the legal and financial background of the Trust- Presented fundraising strategy research to the Board

University Of Maine

- Monitored the evaluation of 197 grants and dispersed $89,000 in funds- Streamlined the grants process which cut the review process in half- Maintained Excel database and created reports for GSG and college administratorsThe GSG (Graduate Student Government) is the governing body for all graduate students at the University of Maine. Public meetings of the GSG are held every two weeks. The GSG offers a number of services, including grants for travel to present, degree-related expenses, funding for graduate clubs, and social events. The GSG also sponsors the Graduate Recognition Ceremony and Graduate Research Exposition (the Grad Expo).
