Primary responsibility is to teach interior architecture lecture courses or studio courses based on departmental needs. Also responsible for preparing course materials, delivering courses, monitoring progress/attendance, advising students, administering assignments and grades and conducting educational activities, such as field trips and design critiques.

Ze Haus Interior Design Studio is a boutique firm specializing in hospitality, commercial and residential interiors throughout S. Florida and the Caribbean. The firm also specializes in producing decor & accessories for residential homes and hospitality Interiors. The firm places emphasis on an artistic foundation producing visual arts and hand crafted products to be mass produced into home goods such as custom artwork, wall covering, tile and textiles.

Engaged high school students with an introduction to the history and practice of commercial interior design - expanding their understanding of interior design, its business practices, career specializations, and educational requirements as well as providing hands-on design learning. In combination with the practical learning sessions, I facilitated lectures about the interior design process, history, sustainability, ergonomics, and materials and furnishings all with a through-line of addressing issues of design equity and sustainability. I also helped students develop communication and presentation skills and exposure to diverse segments of the industry.

• Leading and overseeing interior design projects from inception through completion with strong design, technical and communication skill to work with and direct the project team through all phases of a project, including presentations, client interaction, schedule management and financial performance.• Work closely with Studio leadership in the day to day management of the interiors staff and communication across offices on staffing and project related issues.• Responsible for leading the creation of the project design narrative and design graphics for concept presentation materials.• Lead, manage, and hold team accountable for project work.• Lead teams to ensure deliverables meet qualitystandards.• Lead/assist project team in the development of project deliverables, including interior architectural drawings and/or coordinate with appropriate architectural staff, to ensure compliance in quality, design, and appropriate building codes.• Lead/assist project team in the completion of FF&E design & documentation based on project program, budget, and standards. Provide final review of FF&E specifications.• Ensure all deliverables, deadlines, and budgets are met.• Lead quality control review for projects• Managing project team to ensure proper coordination with all consultants and project team members.• Oversee the review of shop drawings.• Create staffing plans and managing project deliverables to meet project milestones, accurate timelines, task lists, and project schedules.• Oversee the review of furniture installation plans for conformance to specifications, brand standards and ensure drawings and elements are coordinated with applicable building codes.• Establish staffing needs per project and manage a balanced fee.• Participate in monthly project Financial Reviews to evaluate project performance, staff adjustments, add-service needs, and aged accounts.• Assist & develop design services proposals and negotiating contracts

Work as project manage and assistant designer for MWDA - Casa Decor Showroom 06; execute construction documents (initial & revisions) for residential & commercial projects, including but not limited to custom furniture, millwork & details; completed on-site surveys, presentation boards, quick sketches, renderings and perspectives for client presentations.
