My professional experience includes an array of awesome opportunities and professional development over the past few years.I am a Florida Registered Licensed Interior Designer with over 10 years of experience working within the hospitality industry. I've had the pleasure of working at prestigious firms including Gettys, Michael Wolk Design and Echeverria Design Group. During economic challenges within the design industry, I began teaching visual arts at CitiChurch located in Miami, Fl. This opportunity lead me to the not-for-profit sector.Within the not-for-profit sector, I transitioned to Hope for Miami as the Arts Specialist, managing and providing art education for 360 students throughout Miami-Dade County. Numerous art awards have been given to students enrolled in the program under my direction. In July 2012, I was promoted to Program Coordinator, responsible for services, management, training and development for the staff and site partners serving a diverse population of families in Miami Dade. I've also practiced as a freelance interior designer providing consultations to individuals and working as a sub-contractor for small design firms in Miami. Several firms I've worked with includes E Studio Eight, LLC and Luxe Fete Event Planning and Design Studio.Currently, I am employed with Hospitality Purveyors, Inc., a subsidiary company of Sandals Resorts, Inc.
