My interest in scientific research began in high school when I read "The Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons" by Sam Kean. This was what initially propelled me into the fascinating world of psychology and cognitive science. I have had the opportunity to work on a multitude of projects ranging from digital 3D manipulation of brain scans to investigating what kinds of declarative memories and affect are elicited by viewing different kinds of art. My research experience is vast and I am ready to apply it to a career in psychological sciences.
