I was born and raised in Cincinnati and though exploring elsewhere, I have still found myself at home at the University of Cincinnati (DAAP). I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Industrial Design, with an interest in consumer products and electronics. Most of my family are engineers of different disciplines, and those that aren't, are fine artists; it's one or the other. Choosing between the two, I was an active participant of math team and engineering team in high school; excelling in multiple city-wide math competitions, and qualifying for TEAMS Nationals 2020 (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science). But outside of school, I spent my energy creatively; I explored water color, graphic design, jewelry and sculpture. So when college season came around, I made the executive decision to combine both sides of my family.In addition to my passion for combining art and engineering, here are some things to know about me:- When I'm not in the studio schooling, you can find me working hard or hardly working at the Cincinnati Art Museum.- In my productive free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, making Pinterest boards, curating playlists and going on walks or bike rides (and I've recently taken up bouldering!).- If I'm choosing to not be productive with my time, I will be dancing alone in my room or laying on any horizontal surface.- In design, I believe nothing should be ugly, the world is full of so much inspiration and color for things not to be interesting and visually appealing. - I'd like to think my friends would describe me as caring, honest, organized and creative.- My recently acquired skills are knitting, origami, nail art, and solving a Rubik's cube, but I am always in search of acquiring more.
