I was based in the Singapore credit card centre which is basically answering to credit card queries from Singaporean cardholders.• It was a challenging process because I had to match my AMO’s expectation which is a minimum of 90 to 100 calls per day and at the same time I had to promote a product called card protection plus which is a kind of security feature offered to credit card holders out there. Overall it was an experience that helped me enhance my communication skills and soft skills as well.• I had obtained multiple relevant skills such as effective time management, multitasking while on call with customer thus trying to maintain a proper (AHT) Average Handling Time, for each customer to resolve their issue.• Besides dealing with customers, I also had a pleasant experience, working with my fellow colleagues as a team, where teamwork and competency amongst us was at the very core of our values as a unit.• Overall, it was a fine tuning firsthand experience for me as a professional which is an eye opener towards corporate spectrum, before I decided to leave to further my degree studies.
