Maintain the mostly inactive touchscreen access library open source project.

Was instrumental in the development of the Integration Platform for the MontaVista Linux 6 product release. Acted as the resident OE/BitBake expert, including supporting the numerous internal software engineers as they came up to speed. Did a training presentation on troubleshooting issues with BitBake and MVL6. Implemented most of the BitBake and metadata features which MontaVista advertises as the differentiating factors between MVL6 and OpenEmbedded. I was the primary contact between the MVL6 team and the OpenEmbedded community, and pushed a large number of commits both in BitBake and OE to open source, with management approval. I continued to participate in the OE community while at MontaVista, helping to represent corporate interests as well as my own, as a developer, e.V. member, and TSC member.

Diagnosed problems which my assigned MontaVista customer, and others, encountered, and fixed those problems, in both kernel and userland.

Embedded systems software engineering, primarily driver development.

Worked on a contract for Computer Sciences Corporation. Fixed bugs and added features to the Qt/Embedded user application.Made modifications and fixes where necessary to the Linux kernel, Linux distribution, and hardware access layer for the device.

Developed user-space code for the network appliance/router devices.Patched and modified the Linux kernel where appropriate.Worked extensively with the configuration of advanced Linux routing.Delved into the Linux netfilter and connection tracking architectures in the Linux kernel, and wrote userspace software for them using the Netlink interface.

Developed Linux device drivers on the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels for new and existing OMAP platforms. Researched and developed for power management, clock management, and performance measurement and tuning.
