Member of the fulltime student board that aims to represent the needs and interests of psychology students within the Netherlands and narrows the gap between students and the working field. As ‘committee coordinator’ I was, besides tasks for the general functioning of the board, responsible for the operation of four national student committees, offering these different teams guidance and support in their tasks for organising events and their teamwork. Furthermore, I was representative for the Netherlands within the European Federation of psychology students. Skills I developed during this year are: leading groups, professional communication, taking responsibility, critical, ‘out-of the box’ and solution focused thinking, writing and evaluating policies of an organisation and intensive teamwork.
