This customer service job taught me a lot about teamwork, staying in a positive mindset through chaos and managing large crowds of people.

I started here as a hostess and trained many people on the tasks of seating, managing servers and the crowds of hungry people. While working here I also did most of the chalkboard artwork and everyday specials, including a drink I concocted that was named after me.

With new technologies like Wii, we also had interactive games to get the kids involved while still playing video games. In this position I was highly regarded by other employees and among the favorites of the kids that regularly came in to see us. While at the YMCA, I learned CPR training and overall safety procedures for babies and adults.
