This job involved door to door sales, selling various products such as cavity wall insulation, boilers and charities. After only a few weeks of hitting beyond target I was promoted to trainee manager. This allowed me to hire and recruit new members of staff, as well as training and tailoring their education on a daily basis. I had successfully built a crew of five members, which were all under my training and supervision. Working at BSB has made me confident in sales, I really enjoyed being able to sell and work with all sorts of people and it has also taught me how to run teams successively and train others. The role was solely based on commission, so working here has made me money motivated and used to working to targets and keeping a positive attitude despite rejection. I liked being paid only for commission because it meant my hard work was reflected in my pay and I had full control of my own earnings.
