I am an Academic Advisor for the College of Science and Mathematics at Auburn University. I am new in this role, but I am excited about helping students reach their educational and career goals in the pre-health degree pathways through COSAM. Prior to joining the Student Services team at AU COSAM, I was an English teacher. I taught 11th, 12th, and 8th grade English Language Arts. I am passionate about education and guiding students to become lifelong learners. My teaching was centered around building relationships and creating a classroom community.Before I made the jump into education, I worked in areas of graphic design and computer science. I enjoyed the creative aspects of these roles and implemented them in my classroom as much as possible.
