Director Of Impact & Advocacy
Current• Lead and grow strategic plans and relationships to understand Cradles to Crayons' impact on children and families, and build an organization-wide effort in support of ending Clothing Insecurity and other children’s poverty issues• Establish short, medium, and long-term priorities for impact, evaluation, and research surveys, projects, pilots in collaboration with executive leadership, internal and external stakeholders, C2C distribution Service Partners, and community impact and research partners• Set the mission, vision, and strategy for the annual Chairman's Council Clothing Insecurity Impact Award and corresponding grants in collaboration with Chairman's Council and executive leadership to invest in organizations meeting children's clothing needs• Create and train on Impact resources, tools, and collateral to support C2C colleagues and external #EndClothingInsecurity ambassadors• Develop and execute C2C's education and awareness initiatives, including coordination of thought leadership content, communications strategy, and market participation and events• Cultivate elected officials and policymakers as C2C and basic needs champions at the local, state, and federal levels to elevate clothing as a critical basic need warranting government response and support• Lobby for policies and legislation at the state and federal level that close basic needs gaps, increase families' cash resources, end diaper need, and improve children's access to everyday essentials• Direct impact studies and needs assessments research conducted in partnership with external consultants• Secure and oversee management of more than $3M in local, state, and federal funding over three years• Build and strengthen a network of peer organizations across the country to collaborate and grow a national movement to #EndClothingInsecurity
