I am specialized in administrative law with a master’s degree in that field, labor law, and criminal law. I also provide legal translation services to international corporations such as Ford Otosan, PSA Group, Total Energies, Mercer, and Stellantis Group, and international media companies such as Business Week and Harvard Business Review. I have also translated over a thousand articles for the Turkish edition of the British daily newspaper The Independent, including the works of the columnists such as Robert Fisk, Patrick Cockburn, Sean O’Grady, Borzou Daragahi, and Slavoj Zizek.Before working as a practicing lawyer, I worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye as a career diplomat and legal counselor.My duties during my MFA career were diverse and multi-dimensional. I wrote and reviewed the contracts for the premises of the UN institutions & international organizations (UN Women, UNDP, UNFPA, FAO, ILO, D8 etc.) in Istanbul and Ankara. I personally led the land allocation of the UN House in Ankara Incek Diplomatic Enclave as the head of the real estate section of MFA. I was also responsible for the legal proceeding of the Ankara Palace State Guess House and I was the legal counselor for its restructuring.I also participated in various charity and peace activities. I was the representative of Türkiye in the International Contact Group for South Philippines Peace Progress, and I was an observer at the Third-Party Monitoring Team of the Peace Process. I also visited Tacloban following the devastating earthquake and tsunami. I was an observer for the 2016 Philippine presidential and vice-presidential elections.As the Chief of the Chancellery and the Deputy Head of the Mission, I was in charge of the staff and the management of the Embassy in Manila. I acted as the Chargé d'affaires a.i. Diplomatic meetings, negotiations, daily reporting, and organizing receptions and conferences were part of my duty.I got my Master’ Degree in law from Selçuk University in administrative law. I got my bachelor’s degree in law from Bilkent University with a full scholarship. I also got a BA degree in International Relations and Affairs from Anadolu University. In 2011-2012, I attended and graduated from the Kansai Language School of the Japan Foundation in Osaka with a full scholarship. I have professional experience in using English which I speak fluently.
