Humans are my favorite animals! This may come as a surprise since my degree is in Environmental Science & Policy, and we as a species are the typical villain in the books read. However, I love to work with people because we have the power to change. I am passionate about environmental education for two reasons: it brings be joy, and it equips others. Some might call me a nerd, but it brings me joy to share what I have learned with others. In fact, when I was a child, my dad thought that my younger sister would grow up to hate school because I was always trying to be her teacher and show her what I learned in Kindergarten. Next, I enjoy environmental education because it inspires others to care and prepares them to make informed decisions about their lifestyle.
