Keri Roberts is the passionate and visionary Executive Director of A Place of Refuge, a Detroit-based nonprofit dedicated to ending youth homelessness, particularly among young men in the foster care system, that has aged out or is aging out. Since its founding in 2009, the organization has led efforts to address the intersection of homelessness, youth development, and systemic inequality. Keri's leadership ensures that people in need have access to stable housing, education, and economic opportunities.A Detroit native with decades of community service experience, Keri draws on her deep understanding of local challenges to create innovative, sustainable solutions. Her expertise spans economic development, affordable housing, and educational access, blending social impact with effective business strategies.In addition to her nonprofit work, Keri is a successful entrepreneur, having co-founded companies across e-commerce, retail, real estate and business consulting.
