• Responsible for establishing strategies for LOTTE Biologics' ADC (Antibody-Drug Conjugate) manufacturing business. I play a leading role in sales expansion, client engagement and technology competency enhancement for our ADC business. • Manages MSAT/PD teams in Syracuse US and Songdo Korea for tech transfer, building platform process to manufacture mAbs, Multispecific antibodies, Antibody-Drug Conjugates.• Designs and curates an ambitious startup acceleration/incubation program called BioVenture Initiative (BVI) located in LOTTE Biologics Songdo Biocampus. We are accommodating innovative startup companies to maximize their discovery/development of novel drug to tackle the area of unmet need.

• Managed and executed public relations strategies for the society. Strengthened KASBP awareness by establishing and developing relationships with media platforms. Managed process for writing and distributed press releases and conducted follow-up with media.

• Developed and executed CMC strategy and provided scientific guidance in analytical development, control strategy, regulatory filing for the programs which are acquired, in-licensed, in-house developed biotherapeutics (ADC, bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins) in early and late clinical trial stage.• Conducted due diligence of the products in mid or late stage of development for the in-license and acquisition. • Led program and interface with global external partner companies, vendors to collaborate and manufacture the new drug entities. Led cross-functional, cross-organizational teams for the project.

• Supported the launch of commercial biotherapeutics (Nucala, Benlysta, Tanzeum and 4 others) in GSK global network . Interfaced with global regulatory team, local operating companies and local regulatory agencies to support in-country testing and site audits. Established new business processes and maintenance of established current work processes required to support the commercial program and infrastructure within a highly complex and dynamic regulatory environment.• Oversaw the activities of CMO regarding the product in early stage development, biosimilars within GSK. Conducted development and qualification of all the assays for release and stability testing.

• Analytical project team leader for the development of product in Phase II clinical trial. Successfully built multi-site and cross-organizational alignment on analytical support required for BDS/DP in-process control, formulation development, fill/finish and BDS/DP release-testing. Worked closely with alliance partner, CRO and CMO to manage life cycle of existing analytical methods as well as develop, validate, tech transfer of the new methods.• Led the elucidation and characterization of the structure of the protein and developed state-of-art analytical methods for monoclonal antibodies and Fc-fusion glycoproteins, E. coli recombinant protein.

• Developed R&D strategy for the biopharmaceutical business. Installed a laboratory for the small-scale manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals. Supervised team of researchers; conducted research projects funded by the various source (corporate support, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy Research and Korea Science & Engineering Foundation).

• Participated in the biochemical study of aging mammalian brain; glycoprotein analysis, etc.
